Roxie Avalon
(b. 1988, Tucson Arizona, USA)
is a self-taught oil & acrylic artist specializing in ethereal portraits and space surrealism.
She grew up in Tucson Arizona surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran desert
under the enormous starry night sky. She draws inspiration from her father who was an astronomer & photographer and from her mother who was a historian & an author. Her pieces depict various imagined star clusters and gaseous nebulas or beautiful maidens dancing through stardust.
